Merge Mansion Main Game Item List Guide

Written Feb 2021Updated 09/08/2024 — Current Level: 43

A fan-made un-official guide as I play the game.

*There are many small changes in the game with each major game update. I will try and find and fix things as I go, but there will likely be some inconsistencies until I can find them*

*** Sept 2024: I apologize to everyone, but I’m making an announcement that although I will continue to sporadically play that game, I haven’t touched it in a while. It started a few months ago when the game started getting less enjoyable as a whole (constant changes making it hard to stay on top of things, so many money grabs, and repetitive events that just weren’t interesting anymore or just plain weird) and came to a head when I got a month-long illness. Perhaps if I stay away from it for a period it will be interesting again, I don’t know. Either way, I’m stopping coverage on events, and probably will continue to update images and chains but only if I’m actually playing the game, which, like I said, I haven’t in a long while. Thank you for reading and support these last 3 years. I’ll update when I update!! ***

Game Changes List

As I find them in the game. Starting June 2023

  • 424 — Item inventory has added “Sorted by type” button
  • 324 — Not a game change, but I am going through to update some chains and recording their descriptors; Toolbox max chain levels increased from 9–12; Tools max chain levels increased from 10–12 max; Toy Car max chain levels increased from 10–12
  • 224 — changed appearance of Gems; Bronze Coins are now Gold Coins with appearance change; fixed task completion animation slow-down, allowing a “skip” function; Added Producers tab to Inventory where producing items may be stored but with a caveat that production pauses while in storage (opinion: while I’m glad the task completion animation is fixed, I wish the developers would stop changing little things all the time and focus more on new content and game expansions)
  • 124 — changed task completion animation (for the worse, imo)
  • 1223 — Decoration shop available to buy missed decorations from prior years; New Area: The Gallery to be opened in January
  • 1123Lamp chain increased from 6 to 10 levels
  • 10/10/23 — 2nd installment of Dining Room Area; Side Entrance Area added new tasks; New chains: Watering and Water Bucket; Daily Tasks shortened to 3 tasks in 4 hours and rewards changed
  • 10/9/23Drawer max chain expanded to 12 levels from 7 levels; Broom Cabinet max chain expanded to 12 levels from 11 levels; New artwork for picture frames in Love Story chain; Gardening Toolbox max level increased from 11 to 12
  • 6/3/23Wood added 2 more chains, from 4 to 6 levels; Colored Box items are no longer are cobwebbed; New Daily Boxes added: gloves, planted flower
Navigation and Game Tips
  • For easier navigation on this site, use the Find (ctrl + F) feature on your browser or the quick-jump links
  • If you are running out of tasks to complete, focus on finishing out merge chains. For example: I suddenly opened up the Romantic Spot area when I finished the 11th merge in the Love Story chain, despite not having increased in player level.
    • It is worth it to get higher merges as opposed to keeping several smaller merge levels when mining for items because higher merge levels yield: Higher level items, increased taps, and lesser wait times.
    • Try to merge brown and blue chests before opening them for much better rewards
  • Merging the entire chain for piggy banks significantly increases yield
  • It’s generally a good idea to keep the higher levels of merge chains in storage for easy task fulfillment in the future

  1. Just like you can combine two brown chests (then it looks like in the picture shown here), you can also merge blue chests. Then you get lvl. 2 items as well, instead of just lvl. 1 items. I believe I tried to merge lvl2. chests before but it didn’t work for the brown ones, so I doubt it’ll work for the blue ones.

    You can’t merge boxes btw.

    1. Hi teamies! Re the current Christmas event — can anyone tell me where to get coal and the twig please? I’ve done the coal once, can’t remember how and can’t seem to do it again. I have no idea how to get the twig though.

      1. Hello! The coal comes from the chimney randomly (or you can buy it with coins) the twig…was also a random drop from something now I can’t remember either! On a side note, I’m planning on making another guide for the Christmas event hopefully tomorrow morning.

  2. Thanks for your information. I wonder, during the events, for example lindsays shoes. What do you do with it at the end? because they are very expensive. Do you sell it?

  3. When you break the “ship in a bottle” you get different sailing ships. Once you get to the 4th and last one you can pop out boxes that end up as a scarob box that creates a beetle that you can merge. I’ve only gotten to the second scarob.

  4. I have a question about merging. Do you keep merging until you get to the highest level of an item or is it better to have two lower level items not merged? I’m wondering if you get more items from the two lower level items than the fully merged item.

    1. You could, but generally, the higher items not only give more items at a time, they give them more frequently (less wait time), and higher level items, too (like, instead of 5 level 1 items, it might give you 7 variety of level 1 and 2 items). For that reason as a rule of thumb it’s better to just merge. But you can play with it. 🙂 The other bonus is that it clears up more space for more merges!

  5. This was so helpful! I couldn’t remember how I had gotten something. I searched and this came up so thank you for making this list. Developers should pay you to play their games and make guides for their players. This is awesome, SERIOUSLY…Thank You!!

  6. This info is SO helpful, and since I partake of your hard work, I would like to offer something in return. I have screen shots of the following cascades merged to full values if you’d like to use them to update your page: gardening tool barrel and blue flower pot. I also have the tool box cascade up to level 8. I can email them to you if wish to use them.

    1. I kept mine just in case but have yet to use it again (lvl 28 now) so it’s just taking up space in my bag. As long you keep getting reward chests through the levels it shouldn’t be hard to get another if you ever need another

    1. Sorry I didn’t realize that portion of the guide was missing. It has been fixed. You get the Watermelon from merging the Watermelon Plant parts from the event start and then wait for it to spawn (2 of them)

  7. Do you know what the purpose is of the items in Lindsay’s Day? Is it just to get the blue stars?

    1. Any of the Events like Lindsay’s Day are solely to gather as many event stars (green) as possible before the 3 days are up. After the time limit, those event stars are traded in for items that go into your regular game which give exclusive items necessary for the main story. You can play each 3‑Day event as many times as you like. Hope this helps!

  8. Hey there! Thank you! Just as everyone else says…this info is great! These games are fun but sometimes we get stuck on something but still want to continue on. Very helpful! Anywho…I was wondering about the 3 day event that seems to be constantly there labeled “Ignatius Boulton”. Its a very very repetitive event, so I’ve only played it about half way thru.
Do I need to play this event for main game play? Or is this just an extra thing?
Do you have more info to display like you did the “Lindsey’s Day” and “Casey & Skatie” events?
Thank you again for your time and enjoy your play time:)
    ‑Brie

    1. Thanks for reading! I have yet to post anything about that event because I haven’t found a reason to do the event yet (read: I haven’t gotten to the right player level yet). Lindsey’s Day and Casey & Skatie had an end goal of creating the items necessary for the story. I’ve also only done it a handful of times and find it kind of strange. Boring. I COULD do one, though (when I find the time) just to have on the site. Stay tuned and happy merging!

    1. Yuppers. You use yarn to make pillows, Chairs, lamps, parasols, and the like in the Pool House and Pool House Patio for sure…

  9. This is so informative, I felt like I was going around in circles!
I’ve completed the Tin can factory, should I keep the flower bushes? Space is a big problem on the merge board.
    Thank you

    1. The Flower Bushes are only for the Tin Can. Once you get the can the Flower bushes aren’t needed…as far as I am aware and Im on level 35.

  10. I just made it to Level 34 and received the Concrete Mixer. Another fun thing to obtain things from…

  11. When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get several emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Cheers!

      1. I love this compilation of the game…but does the ignatious game …with the numbers…do anything for me to progress through the game or am I wasting my energy on this?

  12. I came here looking for a category called “planted flower” and I have NO IDEA how to obtain them! So I guess no one else does either or maybe they’re a new category or something haha. They look completely different from peonies and flowers (that give butterflies). They have tulips and things and they’re in the main game not events. I got a concrete making machine right after they appeared in the tasks as items I needed. But unfortunately the concrete machine has nothing to do with it.

      1. I looked and found this and not sure it’s much help — email me directly maybe we can find this out together sly1539@yahoo.com

        From: Brown Chests
Items Obtained: Planted Flower Seed, Planted Flower Bud, Planted Flower Seedling
        Cascade: Seeds > Seedling > Small Bush > Bush lvl 4 > Bush lvl 5 > Blossoming Bush lvl 6 > Blossoming Bush lvl 7 > ?? > ?? (max)
Use: To get Stone Can for the statue task
Note: May 2022’s update changed the cascade from 7 levels to 9 levels. It also changed items obtained. Plant used to give One Cent and Small Tin Can. Unknown if those items are needed any longer?

  13. It looks like the newest update (05/19/22) changed many…many things. The task list used to request the regular Peony and Orange Flower in “The Fortress Area 13”. Now there are 2 tasks needing “planted flower” with a longer cascade to get them.
The store offered to sell these flowers for a short while so you can buy the flowers needed. But we still need to know where they are from and how to get more.
Im on level 36 and received no mixer…strange.
Also, the update has some errors in the new “cascade album”. For example…I completed an entire set but it says I still need 2 items. So???
I believe the update may have some bugs but LOVE love most things. Especially the cheaper storage spaces. I can pay 22K versus 169K for the same slot!!
    Happy Merging Friends:)

  14. Aha! I FIGURED IT OUT!!!

New “Planted Flower’s” come from the same Bush that was used to get the tin can!!
Previously we were told to toss the Bush once we have tin can. Now…
DON’T THROW AWAY THAT BUSH!! 😉

“Bush Seeds for the Planted Bush can be found in Brown Chests and in the Shop.

From Level 5 onward the Planted Bush used to drop Asset Stone Can “The Beginning” when tapped. Now the Planted Bush drops Planted Flower.

Planted bush no longer gives items for the Asset Stone Can, but it is necessary for Planted Flower.”

    I hope this helps y’all!

  15. Mee again:) I also found out that if you have pool toys from before the update they will not merge with the same pool toy after the update. So for example…I have 2 beach balls that won’t merge.

    Any way to fix this?

  16. PLEASE if you find how to get the planted flowers please tell me!!! I need em for like 3 different tasks and cant figure it out yet TWT

  17. Hello Leira! If you look at my previous post started “Aha!” You will find your answer to the mystery of the “planted flower”. Happy hunting!
    ‑Brie:)

  18. Please explain is the flags button for? Inside are a picture of a scarecrow on a haystack with a flower icon floating over it?

    1. It’s to change your decorations once you get them from events. If you click on the flower silhouette you will have options to choose from if you’ve obtained them. If not, then you haven’t obtained any yet and will have to wait until the next event to try.

  19. The Hrlp inside the game will not tell me how to create the Scarsb – like where to begin to make that chain. Any help is greatly appreciated. sly1539@yahoo.com 06–05-22 Sun.

    Scarab

    From: Scarab Box
    Cascade: Scarab lvl 1 > Scarab lvl 2 > Scarab lvl 3 > Scarab lvl 4 > Scarab lvl 5 > Scarab lvl 6 (max)

    1. It comes from the Scarab Box cascade which comes from the Ship cascade which comes from the Bottle cascade which comes from Peony cascade which comes from the Vase cascade

  20. Hi, I’m on level 23. Need to get a vase. How do I find them?? I’ve been able to buy a couple, but where can they be found.

    1. You need to make the
Drawer(S) from there click on them and merge two of there pieces it makes — twice then merge those two new pieces into a vase depending on which vase you then have to keep merging from there if you email me I can send you screen shots

sly1539@yahoo.com just put Merge Mansion need help in the subject line

      From: Chests, Boxes
Items Obtained: Pot Fragment, Vase (lvl 1), Closed Tool Crate
Cascade: Drawer Knob > Drawer Knobs > Drawer Box > Drawer Boxes > Drawer lvl 5 > Drawer lvl 6 > Drawer lvl 7 (max)

      1. Thanks so much. I have a drawer. I can see the cascade. It’s getting the knobs and such that’s hard. They don’t appear very often!

      2. I understand I usually have to buy the knobs to get started. Once I have the full chest of drawers I keep it

I have screen shot of things I keep I’ve been playing for a long time

My email is sly1539@yahoo.com if you email me I can send you screen shots of things to keep and other ideas

    2. How can I send her these screen shots To help her? Thanks Sandra

      Sent from my iPhone

      >

      1. I have an Android Samsung. On my phone, I hold the volume and On/Off Key at the ame time and it takes a picture of the screen.

      2. Thanks — My question was how to attach a screen shot to my comments I am a very visual person- so I thought if I can attach a screen “ here” it might be more helpful

    3. Vases can come fromclicking on the drawers which give you another pie email me sly1539@yahoo.com I case you screen shots ehich I haven’t found a way to do here be sure to put Merge Mansion on the subject line Sandy

  21. Do I need to keep butterflies once I’ve finished the Casey and Skatie story and fed all the pool toys?

  22. I know you get the planted flower from the seeds from the brown chest. But how do you get the brown chest? It never comes up.

    1. Your issue :

I know you get the planted flower from the seeds from the brown chest. But how do you get the brown chest? It never comes up.

You need the Planted Bush email me and I can send you screen dots of what you nee — I find that pictures are easier to understand

      sly1539@yahoo.com

Is there a way to attach pix to these replies?

    2. Besides the brown box you can buy the seeds in the shop there are several seeds there so check you pick the ringgit one

Send me an email with Merge mansion and I can send you screen shots for some unknown reason I cannot attach pix to this reply — sly1539@yahoo.com

  23. I have gone through all levels from the tennis bag and gotten the tennis trophy, and put the trophy in the display house in the tennis court area. Do I need to do any more with the tennis bag?

  24. Same and I believe once you fill the task asking for the tennis bag you do not need it anymore. You’ll get a message sorry I didn’t keep a screen shot of it

I also have a question but cannot attach a screen shot of something – how do I ATT a screen shot it has to do with energy?

  25. Help!
Anyone know about the Spa Event yet?
I am only finding petals in the green bucket so far. Where else can you find the red petals to make the roses currency for prizes?
    Any help muchly appreciated!

  26. Hi all, love this site. Thank you for taking the time for doing this, it is so helpful. I don’t know if I missed it or what, but….I deleted the item that produces the logs, can you help me out? Thank you.

  27. How can I attach a screen shot to get help with the Energy album? I keep asking a no one responds.

Sl some of the descriptions of chains have changed and do “different” things than as currently shown. sly1539@yahoo.com

      1. Your reply read “ I have completed all of th energy chains and yet it says I have 1 left to complete. The latest event for the spa added one, as well. I completed that one and itt still says I have one left.”

“Energy album”says there are 50 energy and same thing happened to me . I asked the help and they said just keep playing — they will not give me a a hint as to what the 50 th piece is or the start of its chain.

      2. I would assume that it comes later in the game or possibly an event. I am only level 36 currently, still going through the levels. I’d say wait and see what happens

      3. To Nancy

Thank you for your reply — I am at Level 44 and have been playing for several years — it’s just frustrating when help won’t at least give us what chain is neede for the missing 50 th piece — I’ve had 48 pieces since before the pandemic and just with the last update got the 49 th piece — so that took years to get — that to me isn’t fun.

Please keep in touch thank you Sandy sly1539@yahoo.com

    1. I don’t think you can add a screen shot without using the app.
Yes. Things do get added to the chains. I have completed all of th energy chains and yet it says I have 1 left to complete. The latest event for the spa added one, as well. I completed that one and itt still says I have one left.

  28. Sandy,
I’ve been catching up on all the comments. I hear your frustration! If you can figure out screen shots that might actually help a lot of us. So please dont give up:)
I also just wanted to encourage you to remember the main point of this game, as I get frustrated too. Besides merging…It is mystery.
Maddy never gets an answer from Grandma and we never get clear help from support. Its truly all in the fun of the game to keep the mysterious nature continuing throughout everything even completions of stuff.
Whenever things like waiting for that last energy spot to be “fixed” happens…just know something more is yet to come.
Maybe the creators dont even know what that is yet! Lol
    Just remember…its all a mystery.
I just thought I would try to help your frustration, because you are not alone. I wondered about the energy thing too. But playing games is supposed to be fun…right? I am sorry for your struggles.
    Happy mystery-Happy Merging:)
    ‑Brie

    1. I play to be able to complete things my frustration is the lack of honesty by the help desk — I played for over two yrs to get the 49th energy piece /. They should just say that the 50 th piece isn’t really there or that it is under development.

Same issue with population — just recently they gave two new buildings

Just frustrated at helps responses which most time are no help.

It just isn’t fun so I don’t play it as much as I have done in the past — it’s just to frustrating trying to get the 59 the energy piece when I am pretty sure it doesn’t even exist.

      1. Oh! I apologize I didn’t realize you felt they were lying. That’s no good. Im sorry for misunderstanding. May I ask what you meant when you said “Same issue with population – just recently they gave two new buildings”.
What is population according to this game? And what 2 buildings did you get?
        — Brie

      2. My mistake population issue is with another game “Township”

        All these games have issues

  29. I’m curious. Does anyone know what you do with the scarab flower at Scarab Level 6 besides admire your handiwork?

    1. You wrote “ *There are many small changes in the game with each major game update. I will try and find and fix things as I go, but there will likely be some inconsistencies until I can find them*

Do you can you post a picture of the scarab flower that you referred to — I still cannot post a comment and attach a a picture.
      sly1539@yahoo.com

If I had your email we could correspond and then I could attach a picture.

      1. They’re referring to the last level of the “scarab” chain. Unfortunately, I am not comfortable sharing any personal information with strangers, and while I thank you for your offer to help, I’d like to complete the merges on my own. Thank you for reading!

      2. The notes on the “information”shown at the top of the page stated it is at it max

I was just trying to help you.

  30. aowam…. You are an absolute gem ! Thank you so much for the above lists and all your help. I am really enjoying this game and more so now that you have helped me to clear up some little problems and questions I was having. Thank you ! 😁
