Looking back on this post from 3 years later, I don’t know what happened to the text? Or if I finished posting? I don’t know what happened, but no matter what, this is a terrible picture.
Also, as a dental professional, you can use Polident’s denture cleaner on your nightguards and retainers, WITH THE UNDERSTANDING that it will stain them a yellowish color. It does work, though it is not recommended. My mom has been using Efferdent on her nightguard once a week for almost 30 years and it is pristine, just discolored.
There is another option which is Polident Pro Guard and Retainer meant to clean retainers and nightguards while keeping them a clear color. I’ve used it off an on and I like it.
