Tips & Tricks

*Finger Gun to Head*

  • When trying to take a picture of a specific thing, make sure the green words pop up on the picture. If you don’t see the specific wording then it won’t count for either the quest or the Flamingo upload
  • Try to do all of the Wildlife survey picture upload quests as soon as possible to get improved recipes that actually help with life/stress/health replenishment
  • Start Route A quests first to get the Pan Flute to help go faster around the map.
  • Generally speaking, if the healthiness bar is lower than 50% her chance of ailment goes up. Same with the Hunger meter. When both are low, it increases your chance of ailment.
  • Be sure to do side quests that you can before hitting up main quests because some will no longer be doable if you don’t.
  • Getting money:
    • Upload pictures to Flamingo that are required and fit the hotwords for a steady stream
    • Sell things that you collect. Bugs sell for a lot in bulk and are easy to find. Mining materials make the most money.
  • Character Status
    • Naomi’s face picture shows her current stress level (very subtle and hard to tell unless up close). If this is too low, her charisma goes down and that drives shop prices up. Take a shower and groom at the mirror (or in a box as a cat). Drinking teas help with stress, too.
    • Healthiness is the bar below her face picture. Try to keep it above 50% to avoid getting ill. Salads and other foods that deliver Healthiness. Medicines improve it too.
    • Hunger is above the HP and Awakeness meters next to the stomach icon. Eat food to keep her full.
    • HP is the red squares next to the heart icon. Full heal is available at the doctor’s office or can be replenished by food or medicines
    • Awakeness are the green squares next to the eyeball icon. Drink Ded Bull to stay awake or eat certain foods or drinks. Go to sleep to replenish
  • Ailments
    • Cold: Playing in the rain with 50% or lower healthiness
    • Headache: Being too hungry and shrine warping long distances
    • Toothache: Being hungry and eating too many items (around 5 or 6)
    • Lumbago: Being hungry, unhealthy and lifting heavy objects
    • Alcoholism: Drinking too much alcohol. You need to drink A LOT. Drunkenness goes away on its own after a while, but alcoholism needs to be cured
  • The cat sprints faster and jumps higher than the dog but runs out of stamina quickly. It can also home in and kill small animals. Low defense.
  • The dog has better stamina and can fight, but much slower than the cat. Cannot jump high enough to get over many stone walls.
  • Sheep riding is faster and makes you impervious to badger or bee attacks. Can’t jump. Can’t pick up items while riding. Can’t take pictures while riding.
  • Make sure that you have the quest you want selected before doing the action. Most quests will not automatically count unless the quest itself is selected.
  • Fighting: really quite cumbersome in the game, but the easiest way is to attack the enemy with the dog, run away from it until it stops, then run back–> attack –> run away until it doesn’t follow –> repeat. Each enemy has an attack area limit. Otherwise, you’ll take tons of damage.
  • Fashioning clothes will help a lot with stats and allowing more backpack space.
  • For whatever reason, perhaps a glitch, I keep losing the money in my bank account in the game, so while the game recommends keeping your money in the bank just in case you die, I feel like you should keep most of it on your person. Every time I finish an urgent quest, I lose about 400 credits. This just makes it impossible to save up for anything in the game!
  • The MacCauley Kids:
    • Emma: On Sundays she’s at the church, Saturday she’s with her grandma
    • Clay: On Mondays she can be found in Town Hall, Thursdays
    • Charlotte: Friday next to the river to the East of town where there are 2 shrines. Next to the Southern Shrine. Tuesday

Main Quests

YEEAAH, BABY!

Home is where you make it?!

  • Go to the house, then check the PC

A Photo for Flamingo

  • Upload a photo to the social media site

Don’t Go Out Tonight…

  • Wait until evening and then go out anyways

Raining Cats and Dogs

  • Follow the prompts then gather the items, take a picture of the glowing rock and then go back to the drunkard witchdoctor lady. Watch cutscene.

Scale the church’s bell tower

  • Go around to the side of the church, use the cat vision and then to the bell tower

Investigate the Shrine on the Hill

  • Talk to the camera store guy (son of the Berrymans), then go to the destination points

Running, Leaping, Hopping Shoes

  • Follow the instructions to get the materials from the Knight guy, then get them made by the clothes lady, and then give them to Elizabeth
  • *Note* Before or right after doing this quest and before the Midnight Rendezvous quest, make sure you finish up any other side quests, specifically those dealing with Elizabeth, otherwise you won’t be able to do them later (i.e. The Beautiful Town of Rainy Woods quest)

Midnight Rendezvous

  • Meet up with Elizabeth and follow her through the course of 3 chases. Crazy Badgers.

The First Bit of Legwork

  • Talk to the witchdoctor lady, talk to the rocker pub lady, talk to Elizabeth’s weird author brother

The Golden Full Moon Fried Egg

  • Go to cafe and talk to the mushroom eating guy. Go find the chubby, smiling Asian lady whose house is next to the general store/clothes store. There’s a chicken in the back named Mrs. Jasmine. Get a golden egg, go back to the cafe, carry the egg to the author guy and watch the cutscene. Awoo!

The Handkerchief’s Scent…

  • Follow the instructions, then follow the scent

Mortiferous Premonition

  • Follow the footprints, take a picture of the crime scene

Background Check 101

  • Go to the town hall which is behind the general store/clothes store. When coming from your house, take a left at the ATM

The Other World

  • Upload a picture of something cute and fluffy (I forget what I uploaded now. Maybe a bunny or a mouse?)

Route A – An Antique Emblem

Route A – An Antique Emblem

  • Follow the map

Route AOnward to the Grungy Old Castle

  • Go towards the map marker

Route AThree Trials

  • Follow the directions to catch a sheep and get back to the Sheep Butler (walk up to a sheep in dog form and bark at it until it shines blue, then turn into a human and press A to tame). Then follow his instructions before riding back to Burley’s Farm to the map marker

Route ATrials Complete

  • Follow the marker to get back to the Sheep man

Route AClassical Cosplay

  • Wool felt can be gotten from attacking sheep, gold nuggets from mining (buy pickaxe from knight man), glass beads are usually on rooftops (get as cat), liquid vitae is made from the witchdoctor lady. Put on dress and then get back to the Sheep Man.

Route ABreaching the Lake

  • Explore the area past the gate

Route AA Knight’s Trials

  • Do all of the annoying sheep run trials. The time limit is extremely generous.

Route AThe Tale of the Bloodwoodes

  • Go to drawbridge and choose the correct portrait. It’s Macauley’s picture, the guy with the glasses.

Route AFaster than Light

  • Tame the Legendary Sheep like you would any sheep (I had to do it twice for some reason), go back to drawbridge. Cut scene starts automatically.

Route AA Tale of Yore

  • Talk to the ancestor peoples (check out all the food on the tables!).

Route ACarry Those Barrels!

  • Get to the cellar. You only need to bring 3 barrels. The walking mechanism is terrible. Be careful not to run into the glowing sides or you will get hurt and eventually die. If you do, it’s not a big deal, just annoying.

Route ALord of the Booze: The DrinKING!

  • UUUUUGGGGGHHHH. Make sure you tap the arrows, try not to hold it. If/when they start giving you the drinking bottle aids, use them, they make the stupid balance bar longer. Do your best.

Route AEvent Horizon: Epilogue!

  • Talk to Burley and the Knight man

Route B – The Blind Veteran

Main Quest – Route B –The Blind Veteran

  • Find him on the map

Main Quest – Route B –Master and Student, at Odds

  • He’s going to use the path that cuts behind the backyards from the town square to behind the veterinary clinic. Hit the pee bar when it’s a tiny bit before the blue to get it square on each time

Main Quest – Route B –To the North!

  • Go to the map marker to the way northern part of the map. Make sure the quest is active in order to reach it

Main Quest – Route B – To 1977!

  • Get some Whiskey and Hot Coffee at the pub

Main Quest – Route B –Find the High-Tech Thingy!

  • Talk to Clay Macauley (Monday)
  • Talk to Charlotte Macauley (Friday)
  • Using the 2 pictures, find the location. Just follow the map to directly North of town and a cutscene with Emma starts. Memorize the scent from the Old Label, follow it to the Western part of the lake to a dog pee spot. Pee, then dig to find the item.
  • Go back to the pub and approach the bartender to start a cutscene

Main Quest – Route B – Back to the Northern Mountains

  • **NOTE: be sure to finish the quest Concerned Sister, Clueless Brother before finishing Route B quests otherwise it’ll be greyed out and undoable**
  • Get back up to Survival Guy and it starts a cutscene

Urgent Quest – Route B – Woman VS Mountain

  • Turn into a dog, make sure you scent him before you talk to him. Then you’ll have to “follow closely” as he runs through the snow. It’s a joke, because for whatever reason you can’t run quickly, and he’s always ahead of you. If you go the wrong direction, you have to start again from the last point you stopped. The last, long one, is impossible to follow him, so make sure to follow his scent and not veer too far off the path.

Main Quest – Route B – To the Mine!

  • It’s the mine! Reach the map marker for a cutscene

Main Quest – Route B – Into the Darkness

  • Tried to go back into the snowstorm to look for deer and stuff, but the story won’t let you, so in the mine we go. Memorize the Blind vet’s bandana and sniff your way through the mine. You can’t transform into human, and if you lose all your HP on the electric fences, you game over and have to do it all over again. Make sure you run before you jump over the electric fence. Or just use the cat.

Urgent Quest – Route B – The World’s Oldest Computer

  • Now to blow up the door. Make sure you clear the 3 cardboard boxes out of the way and then carry 3 boxes of dynamite. Thankfully, she runs at a decent speed and automatically places them on the ground. KABOOM. Yeeeaaah, Baby! Head to the Mother Brain. I took a picture of it. Insert the thing and answer the trivia question (if you were paying attention during the snowstorm thing)
    • Alfred
  • Then you get Weird Seed (JackandG0891) and it tells you to go plant it in the middle of Stonehenge
  • Someone’s been following you and you now follow the glowing footprints navigating around electric wires, through a door and into…cherry blossoms?

Main Quest – Route B – Out of Place Artifact

  • Free Camp, a shrine, and…WTH?? Stonehenge and UFO??? And that kid!?
  • You’re too fat, so plant the weird seed and pee on it
  • Change into a cat and climb that sucker
  • Mini-game dodge the chickens while running and catch the kid. If you get hit, you get hurt and have to do it again
  • Then it’s battle royale with David the Cat. The cat is impervious, so dodge until it hunkers down and charges. Dodge. The game will give a *dooop* sound when the cat is incapacitated. You have opportunity for 2 claw attacks.
  • Watch the cutscene

Main Quest – Route B – Blue Peacock: Epilogue

  • Talk to pubmaster, survival guy, the vicar, and his wife

Route C – The Heritage of Rudman White

Main Quest – Route C The Heritage of Rudman White

  • Talk to the Town Hall poet lady and watch the cutscene. Get the 3 gnomes and run them to the White residence (left of town hall) BEFORE Elizabeth’s brother gets there (about 1600-1700 hours). Otherwise, you have to do it all over again. One is in the Asian scone lady’s backyard, another is in the yard right next to hers (across from the town hall), there’s one you have to get from behind the camera shop, there’s another right in front of the drive across the way from the White residence. I snapped a photo of the 3 gnomes when I was done, and it got decent likes on Flamingo.

Main Quest – Route C To the White Residence!

  • Talk to the detective with the bird and heterochromatic eyes, then run to the right side of the house (as you face it), hop up onto the wall that runs perpendicular to the house, run and jump through the break in the fence. Proceed to the front and unlock the gate. Mr. White doesn’t seem to care much that you’re tresspassing

Main Quest – Route C Weird Voice

  • Go to the left side of the house and talk to the camera guy. Go get the hot food and run it to him. It will cutscene automatically.

Main Quest – Route C The Secret Royal Bloodline

  • Go to the Map Marker

Main Quest – Route C To the Southern Lake!

  • Get to the map marker and watch the cutscene. Take a picture of the trees above the canvas (make sure you’re using a telephoto lens) sitting on the easel. Return to the detective.

Main Quest – Route C – To the White Residence Again!

  • Head to the map marker. Watch scene. Learn secrets.

Main Quest – Route C – Curtana, Blade of Legend

  • Get to the Kingswood gate (very far Southwest portion of the map). Turn into the dog and talk to the detective.

Urgent Quest – Route C – The Kingswood

  • Memorize Martha’s scent from the paintbox, then talk to the detective guy. Follow her scent, making sure not to veer off the path too far

Main Quest – Route C – What the Kingswood Guards

  • Make sure to power up the shrine, then continue forward in whatever form you desire (I decided to switch quickly over the A Bright Future quest for a bit and complete that before returning to the main quest).

Urgent Quest – Route C – Secret of the Kingswood

  • You can’t access items or turn into animals here you can only take pictures. Place the Jar on the star pedestal, the Garden Gnome on the Mushroom pedestal, the Antique Hourglass on the Wheel Pedestal, and then Wood (the wooden crate) on the Tree Pedestal. You’ll know you have the right item when it slides automatically to the center of the pedestal, and you can no longer “check” it.
  • Turn into a dog and pull the chain
  • Watch scene
  • Get Curtana

Urgent Quest – Route C – Curtana’s Desire

  • Approach the lake

Main Quest – Route C – Blade of Mercy: Epilogue

  • Visit the witchdoctor lady. Talk to the Berryman family

CATASTROPHE POINT

A Very Important E-mail

  • *Note: checking the computer starts the quest, so if you want to finish any other quests, do so beforehand, because otherwise you’re committed until afternoon the next day**
  • Head home and check email.

Shi**y Countryside Holiday

  • Do stuff until 1400 hours the next day when the science team arrives or just sleep it off.
  • Go to Town Square
  • Watch scene

Wet Work: Sheep Robber

  • Go get one of Burley’s sheep at nighttime
  • Ride it to the tent

Redacted Report: Part 1

  • Go talk to the scientist
  • Choose your next target

Wet Work: Sting

  • Take a picture of the scientist in Elizabeth’s wheelchair from the front
  • Go show it to Norlock

Redacted Report: Part 2

  • Return to the scientist

Wet Work: Dead Drop

  • **NOTE: You won’t be able to buy or eat anything from the townsfolk for a bit after doing the 3rd sabotaging quest so either stock up on things or make your own for a while. **
  • Wait until the town turns into animals (around the full or new moon). During the daytime, go talk to the Cafe guy who gives you 2 choices. I held onto mine, then read a few books to make it to nighttime. Go in front of the Macauley residence and a cutscene will start

End of the Line

  • Talk to all the townsfolk (or at least try to…)

The Glowing Moss Expert

  • Go to the Cafe to talk to Mushroom Guy

John’s Invention #65

  • Go find Camera Guy at his house…
  • ..but he’s not there so go into the garage and check the spot
  • Watch the scene

World’s Worst Stream

  • A big story significant cutscene then launches
  • A mini-game of sorts starts where you have to aim the camera properly for 10 shots. You have to be sure to aim the finder on the white and red target for each image. Your reticule will turn green when you aim properly but be careful as they change every few seconds. If you mess up, then you get flattened by Hugh, the big goon, but it’s okay as you get to try again

Cutscene!

LOBSTAAAAH!!!”

Epilogue

  • Cutscene
  • Debt paid off with 2 million monies leftover!!!

The Ultimate Decision

  • Now to choose an ending:
  • Ending A: Donate all my money to the town in order to keep its secrets well-protected
    • Completes The Rainy Woods Route.
    • There’s a celebratory cutscene where Naomi is made honorary citizen of Rainy Woods for her altruistic decision. All leftover occult gossip on social media regarding the Rainy Woods incident are snuffed out with the donated money to protect the secrets of the town. The scene ends with some creepy, mysterious music and a panoramic view of the town.

“Naomi ended up losing her status as a journalist due to the Rainy Woods incident, but thanks toa certain crafty someone at Morning Bell, she managed to get her Flamingo account back. At one moment, she’d gotten over three million followers… A far cry from what she’s got now, but it’s still more than enough for someone like her, right? Now she just needs to keep uploading photos so that steady stream of Emokes doesn’t dry up! With a little hard work, she might end up becoming yet another global influencer who lives in the middle of nowhere! I still believe in you, Naomi!”

  • Ending B: Run back to NYC and live out the rest of my life drowning in luxury
    • I don’t know what happens here because I didn’t choose it. Kind of wish I did, though.

Secrets of Rainy Woods: IMPOSSIBLE TO COMPLETE

  • Another cutscene.
  • …umm… E-El-Elizabeth?!?!?!?!?
  • “GODDAMMMMNN HELLLLHOOOOOLE!

You are now free to finish old quests and take on new ones!

Shutter Junkie (Easy) (John Berryman)

  • Take 30 pictures. Do it all in one go if you want, then just delete them.

Mnemosyne Has Forsaken Me (Rita Barrett)

  • Take a picture of the weathervane atop the Asian scone lady’s house (near the ATM and to the right of the cafe). Make sure you do it at night, though, because you need a “star.” Doesn’t matter if it’s cloudy, so long as it’s nighttime.
  • Bring it to the Town Hall Poet lady.

Humans Need Treatment Too (George Fakhoury)

  • Run around and do stuff in the rain with health less than 50% (better less than 20%) to get a cold
  • Bring the hunger meter to low and then teleport to and from the farthest shrine on the map (make sure to warp home with the map, otherwise you pay $10) to get a headache
  • With the dropped hunger meter, make sure you eat a ton of food (i ate about 6 small items) to get a toothache
  • Lumbago: Bring healthiness way down to zero and then to in front of 1977 pub and lift the keg.

Are You Taking Care of Your Skin?! (Virginia Yeats)

  • Follow Virginia’s directions to go home and either take a shower or do makeup and get back to her.

Home Improvement (Douglas McAvoy)

  • Get the necessary materials (from the mine in the North, the mine in the Northeast towards the top right of the map, or the West mine near the edge of the map) and
  • Talk to McAvoy to remodel.
    • 10 for the shack, or 250 for the nicer house.
  • Given that I was poor as heck, I still chose the expensive one and now I kind of wish I’d chosen the shack, lol.

Garden 2.0 (Douglas McAvoy)

  • Make sure you bring money so that he can change your garden layout

The True Face of the Angel of Death (Morris Downer)

  • Take pictures of the 2 first scarecrows as marked on the map
  • When you try to get the 3rd one, but he’ll say he wants a closer image
  • You have to save up your money (about 700) to get a telephoto lens
  • Take the picture and return to show him

Outdoor Kitchens, Parts 1-3 (Morris Downer)

  • Pay for 4 (after you open up 1), then 7, and then the rest of the Outdoor Kitchen/Campsites. They range from 75 – 100 moolas.

Cat-Dog Shrines, Parts 1-4 (Salome Macauley)

  • Unlock 1, 4, 10, then 31 (1 monies each).

Be Forever Yvonne (Rudman White)

  • Pick up the busts and then carry them to the target locations to take pictures of them. 3 locations, 3 pictures. Ugh.

Innocent Animal Rhymes (Ian and Allen White)

  • Make sure you have the quest highlighted and then go kill the target animals (so far I’ve had hedgehog and red fox)
  • Can take job any time and it will be a random animal to kill each time.

[Job] Wildlife Surveys (#1-6) (email)

  • #1: Wood Mouse, Brown Rat, Red Squirrel
  • #2: Pine Marten, Hedgehog, Rabbit
  • #3: Badger, Red Fox
  • #4: Red Deer (found in the forest due South on the map)
  • #5: Quail, Chicken, Pheasant, Duck, Turkey
  • #6: Flying Pidgeon, Flying Mallard (aim just a little above the birds while walking up to them and take pictures as you walk)

VIP Photos #1 (email)

  • Weird Author Guy (Elizabeth’s brother), and Town Hall Poet lady

Tourism Prospects (email)

  • Take pics of the cafe, the pub, and the hotel

Daily Life in the Countryside (email)

  • Take pictures of Camera Guy, Knight man, Clothes/Store girl

Faith in the Middle of the Nowhere (email)

  • In the late afternoons, go to the church and people will likely be there visiting a grave

More sheep than people? Seriously…? (email)

  • I found a place in the Northern Middle portion of the map where the sheep all gather on the grasslands around 1 single tree. NW of your house, just a little N of the camp site to the E of the mines and SW of the merchant selling meat.
  • There’s another group to the SW of town

Inhabitants of the Happiest Town in the World 1 (email)

  • Take pictures of everyone listed and upload them.
  • Hint: The Whites you have to do the beginning of the Rudman White quest first to open up the gates
  • David O’Reilly is usually way up north where you can’t get to unless you start the other main quest, but he’s in front of his house or near the church on weekends.

VIP Dish (Bruno Evans)

  • Talk to the mushroom cafe guy and he tells you where to look for the mushrooms. Then make sure your hunger meter is 0 and order the special mushroom dish

Rainy Woods Restaurant Alliance (Bruno Evans)

  • Make sure you have the telephoto lens. Stand far enough away that Macauley starts hunching over. Take a picture when the green words label the image properly. Bring it back to the cafe guy

The Cutest Inhabitant of Rainy Woods (John Berryman)

  • Take a picture of
  • ATM
  • Telephone Booth (from the house run straight in front of and past the general/clothes store and it is bright red next to the road. There’s also one in Town of Eccles)
  • Green Truck (Burley’s Farm)

The Witch’s Capsules (Pauline Atwood)

  • Capsule sheet is on top of 1977 (use cat), then she makes you find 1 rare butterfly wing, 2 rabbit furs (low rate drop from killing rabbits), and 3 sage.

The Witch’s Poultices (Pauline Atwood)

  • Follow the map marker to find the recipe, bring it back and then collect
    • Rare Butterfly Wings
    • Large Animal Femurs (found through peeing and then digging as the dog, generally in areas protected by badgers, but anywhere else, too)
    • Wrapping Leaf
  • The map will mark some areas to look, but I had to look all over the map for more femurs.

[Job] Local Food Culture Report, #1-4 (email)

  • All recipes provided via email. Make and take a picture, then post:
  • Mushy Hedgehog & Pumpkin Pie
  • Roast Duck with Peach Wine Sauce
  • Warm Red Fox and Radish Borscht
  • Red Deer Sunday Roast (Red deer are found either far North in snowy mountains or far South in Deargshaw Forest, Yorkshire pudding found in the town of Eccles on the Eastern part of the map at the shop, Asparagus found in shops in both Rainy Woods and Eccles)

The Territory Markings of Rainy Woods, Parts 1-3 (Horatio Stringer)

  • As the dog, pee on 10, 20, 30, & 40 spots. Make sure to dig after you do as some items can only be found via digging.
  • Hints:
    • You can pee on waning scent spots and still have them count
    • You don’t need to have the quest equipped for it to count

Figure out who lost this! (David O’Reilly)

  • Follow the scent from the item screen and figure out who it is. Make sure you smell each green spot when you get to the end and the cutscene will start automatically when you smelled the end smell. This is random each time, not always the same person. You can likely do this indefinitely. I didn’t.

A Meaty Invention (Thomas Berryman)

  • Talk to Camera Guy’s Dad, the grocery owner. He gives you a 3-part cooking quest.
  • You need to secure at least 3 (I’d recommend more just in case, and then for making it later):
    • Suffolk mutton (sold at Burley’s Farm or the meat trader one of which is N of your house E of the mines)
    • potatoes
    • button mushrooms
    • beef

Yeatschan (Virginia Yeats)

  • Make sure the potted geranium is RED (just take it from the R side of the cafe) and find a striped deck chair
    • There are 2 chairs North of your house. One is right near the meat merchant North of the house, and another is in a barn somewhere North middle-map of your house.
  • Then acquire a Delphinium seed (can buy at store) and make sure it has time to blooming.
  • Get a Wooden Bench & Table turned pink from the paint Virginia gives you from the knight man. You need 9 wood which you need to buy from the knight but can only buy 3 per week or so. It will be delivered to your storage. Set it up in the garden and then talk to Virginia

Slow Life on the Farm (Lonette Burley)

  • Catch a wild sheep (near the farm) and ride it to Burley. Then run any sheep 100 yards (just down the street and back). Brush a sheep. Run a sheep 500 yards. Shear 3 sheep (I had 2, so then I just bought the last from Burley). Run a sheep 1000 yards. Then break 100 barrels or boxes with sheep.
  • Hint: Most farms or larger homes outside the town have a few crates and barrels. For example, Burley’s farm has 7 crates and 4 barrels. The main road to Eccles has white barrels you can run through

A Bright Future (Kevin the Tourist)

  • This quest came up after finishing Route A for me, but likely after finishing any Route. Talk to the tourist who is running around town square. The mini map shows you exactly where to stand for each photo which is nice, but the annoying part is that it doesn’t show you on the big map where you need to be.
  • Make sure each picture says “similar to old photo” then go back to Tourist to show him.
  • Old Photo 1: lower left part of map in Kingswood (must have finished Route C)
  • Old Photo 2: Smack in the middle of the snowy mountain (must have finished Route B)
  • Old Photo 3: Taken from the roof of a house, towards lower right portion of map (must have finished Route A)
  • Return to him.
  • In your storage are 3 items he gives you: F.K. (a stuffed animal), Sleepy (a shop display figurine), and a Donut Cushion (a cushion in the likeness of a strawberry chocolate donut with sprinkles), all of which are decorations for the garden

Elixir of Dreams (George Fakhoury)

  • You need to be completely smashed. I drank so much that I Game Overed 2x and then I became an alcoholic, indicated by the text on the screen and the fact that I moved at the speed of zombie.
  • Talk to the vet
  • Turn into an animal

Craving a Tropical Vacation (Email from E)

  • Striped Beach Chair can be found North of your house.
  • Beach Ball, Beach Parasol and Side Table can be created through the knight man, but the materials needed have to be found. Most of them can be found by digging with the dog

Find the Golden Eggs! (Jin Yi Han)

  • During a full moon, you can find them up around the UFO (Stonehenge), or you can buy 3 of them from her herself the 3 days around the full moon

A True Dame (Douglas McAvoy)

  • *Not yet done*

  • Deliver it to David the Boy Scout who will have appeared in front of his house
  • Then return to the pub lady

  • I have chosen not to do this one until I acquire at least 5 bottles of the stuff from Virginia Yeats (shopkeeper) which will help extend the stupid seesaw board.

Surpassing Sheep (Samuel)

  • Talk to the sheepman butler. Bring him a sheep fully maxed out in any stat.

A Surprise for Martha (Thomas Berryman)

  • Find Martha
  • Take pictures of her:
    • Painting (must say Martha Berryman Painting),

  • Show William the picture

Genius Creativity: The Sequel (William Dickens)

  • Get a photo of 5 gnomes and a red flag. He doesn’t care if they’re dolls or gnomes, nor if the flag is a flag so long as it’s red and flutters.

Genius Creativty “The Recipe of a Genius” (William Dickens)

  1. This is so helpful and thorough – thank you!!
The “Find the secrets of Rainy Woods” quest was making me crazy so I’m glad to see I’m not alone.

  2. I chose to go back to NYC after reading your post. It says that #SaveRW stopped being used after a few days and eventually they started using #LobsterPose (lol). There’s a scene in New York with Lucy, the new CEO, thanking Naomi for everything. Lucy promises to protect the position of CEO from even and also protect the secrets of Rainy Woods. They toast and drink. Naomi says Damn I love New York. And then it shows a creepy figure in shadow watching them from the door.

After completing the New York Route, it says “Naomi ended up losing every last penny, but she still managed to somehow keep her hands on the cutting-edge clothing she bought on a whim. It may be too flashy for an idyllic town like Rainy Woods, but it’ll definitely make her feel like a queen of style! (In case you didn’t figure it out already, the clothes will buff her stats a ton!) This may help to make her future days in Rainy Woods a bit less torturous. Have a Good Life!”

    1. I apologize, but it has been a long time since I played the game myself. Perhaps someone else reading this could help? Or try a google search

  3. Love, absolutely love your posts here thank you. So I’m writing hoping you add more photo quests from E. Zombies Don’t Scare Me is absolutely maddening and I can’t figure it out. Been a Swery fan since Deadly Premonition. Keep up the great work!

    Best,
    John

  4. For the pedestal puzzle in Route C, it’s actually the lion head that needs to be put on the mushroom pedestal, not the garden gnome.

  5. Has anyone ever finished the SWITCH port? I remember playing this last year, could not go on because of a bug in the main quest system. “An important email” never triggered. Science team never arrived. Wasted like 40 hours on this.

Now there is version 3.2. And they claimed they’ve fixed the quest system. So i started all over again from scratch. Same s***. Main Quest system seems broken. “The happiest town in the world” quest cannot be solved. Science team/Important Email never arrives after route C. I have a small handful of shrine and optional quests left.

    Am i missing something here?
Anyone ever finished the Switch version so far?
