Akane: “Most people would just watch from afar in that situation. It’s never a good idea to get involved. But you stayed to help me until the end. I can’t imagine anyone holding a grudge like that. No one’s as considerate as you are for her friends.”

Akane: “You can’t leave a person stewing in their worries all alone, can you?”
Noa: “That’s not true… I was.. the same as Nemu-chan. I was very isolated when I first started university.”
Akane: “Huh? Really?”
Noa: “Yeah. I couldn’t fit in with my new environment. I didn’t know [sic] to make friends, either. But one person reached out to me back then, and it made me extremely happy. We became quick friends, and my life at university wasn’t lonely anymore. I was hoping I could become like her. That’s why I reached out to Nemu-chan.”
Akane: “I see. And who’s the one who reached out to you?”

I happened to be nearby, so she ended up asking for my help. I didn’t know what to do either, but we checked if there were any shelters nearby and took the cat there together. She looked… so relieved when the cat was finally taken in. And that’s when I realized that Nemu is a nice person, she’d just a little awkward.
